Procedural generation games you can play right now

Hundreds of procedural generation games, each running live on its creator's own site: some of them vibe-coded with AI, all of them playable in your browser with nothing to install. Press a card to play one on its own page, or start the cruise to ride through them one after another.

Procedural generation means the code builds the world instead of a designer placing every tile: terrain, dungeons, cities, planets, all grown from a seed. Every stop here can hand you a place nobody has seen before, including the person who wrote it.

Questions about procedural generation

What is procedural generation?

Creating content with algorithms rather than by hand, typically from a random seed plus rules or noise functions. The same seed gives the same world; a new seed gives a new one.

Which techniques show up most?

Perlin and simplex noise for terrain, cellular automata for caves, L-systems for plants, and wave function collapse for tile-based maps. Most projects mix a few.

Will I see the same world twice?

Usually not, unless the project lets you enter a seed. Reload to roll a new one.
