pelican ride 3d

A free animation — play it in your browser, no install. A pelican that actually rides a bicycle — a procedural Three.js scene in one HTML file: zero 3D models, zero textures, zero build step.

From the README

A pelican that actually rides a bicycle — every vertex, every animation curve and every sound generated in code.

One crank angle governs everything. The crank spins at a cadence derived from the current speed; both pedals are read out of the crank's world matrix; each leg solves a two-bone IK chain (thigh 0.52 m / shank 0.50 m) toward its own pedal, then the foot plate is placed on the pedal's top surface — measured gap between foot sole and pedal top is 0.0398 units on both sides, i.e. contact, not hovering and not intersecting. Wheels are physically coupled.
