Dozens of fractal demos, each running live on its creator's own site: all of them playable in your browser with nothing to install. Press a card to play one on its own page, or start the cruise to ride through them one after another.
Fractal demos let you zoom into shapes that never run out of detail: the Mandelbrot set, Julia sets, fractal trees and flames. Drag, scroll and tweak the colours, and the pattern keeps unfolding as far in as you go. There is nothing to win; you play by looking. Many are a single shader someone tuned by eye, with colour maps of their own. If you like getting lost in detail, try the Game of Life and the particle demos, or the voxel demos for worlds built from rules.
Controls are usually scroll or pinch to zoom and drag to move around.

A shape that repeats its own pattern at every scale, so zooming in reveals smaller copies of the whole. Many come from one short formula run over and over.
Most zoom with the scroll wheel or a pinch and pan with a drag. Some have controls for colour, depth and the formula itself.
Every pixel is computed, and deeper zooms need more steps per pixel. Demos that run on the GPU stay smooth longest.
