ephemera

A free animation — play it in your browser, no install. Browser animations generated entirely by code: ray-traced black hole, a million GPU particles, synthwave with live-sequenced music, and an ink-wash short film. No images, no audio files.

From the README

Open the online gallery. The social preview is a screenshot of the public gallery; animation and sound remain generated at runtime.

A collection of browser animations generated entirely by code. No images, no audio files: every frame is drawn live with Canvas / WebGL2 and every sound is synthesized with the Web Audio API. Close the tab and it is gone; open it again and it is computed anew.

Every piece except Ink Drop opens directly by double-clicking its HTML file.

Then open — index.html is the gallery.

Pieces with sound need one click on the page before the browser allows audio.
