A syzygy is three bodies on one line. There are three here — the planet under your feet, a cratered moon, and a ringed companion further out — all lit by one sun, so the moon carries the same phase as the ground you are standing on. The piece was called orrery while it was one planet in an empty sky. It stopped being that.
Gravity points at the centre of the planet rather than downwards, so there is no floor and no edge.
