From the README

An interactive WebGL particle visualization built with Three.js and MediaPipe Hands. Control thousands of glowing particles using real-time hand gestures captured through your webcam.

The application generates thousands of particles using Three.js and morphs them into different mathematical shapes. MediaPipe Hands detects hand landmarks from the webcam, allowing gestures to control particle movement, scaling, and interaction in real time.
