A world you grow with your cursor, play like an instrument, and rewind.

Play in your browser · Download the film and offline version

Hold and draw on the island. Coral opens along your path, the ground rises, and your gestures play tuned notes. Move your cursor and the luminous swarm follows. Hold R to turn back time, then draw a different future.

The whole experience fits in one HTML file and runs offline.

Aftertouch was conceived, designed, coded, scored, rendered, and tested by Codex, OpenAI's coding agent, in conversation with Nicolas Chapuis (@NickChaps).
