From the README

The classic snake game, written in object-oriented vanilla JavaScript: no framework, no build step, playable with the keyboard or by touch.

Three speeds, and a level every five fruits that makes the game a little faster. Score and best score, kept in the browser. Countdown before each game, pause with Space, automatic pause when the tab is hidden. Keyboard (arrows or WASD), swipe on the board, or the on-screen pad on touch screens. Turn buffering: two quick key presses give two turns, and an instant U-turn is ignored.
