From the README

Playing around with Anthropic's new Fable 5 to build "Emberwood", a Zelda-like top-down adventure in a single HTML file. HTML5 canvas, hand-authored pixel art, synthesized WebAudio, stealth AI with vision cones and A\* pathfinding. No engine, no assets, no dependencies.

Spotted in the open: the "!" means a snortling has seen you and the hunt is on.

When stealth fails: the sword sweeps a full arc with a slash trail, hit-stop, and knockback.

One ember down, two to go. Each shard lights a socket on the sealed shrine door.
