From the README

Newtonian *N*-body simulator in JavaScript / HTML5.

Integration uses a leapfrog (velocity-Verlet) scheme. A softening term avoids singular forces at very small separations. An optional time-transformed leapfrog is available to improve stability during close encounters by automatically shrinking the physical timestep near collisions.

Live demo — the page spawns a large stationary object; click-drag on the canvas to add particles (drag length sets initial velocity).

Integrates with a fixed step in a fictitious time $s$ and uses $dt = f(\mathbf r)\,ds$ with $f$ small during close approaches.
