pitfall

A free platformer game — play it in your browser, no install. A precision platformer that lies to you. Every death changes the level, and the game insists nothing changed.

A trap platformer where the level lies to you between attempts.

Play in your browser | Source

Pitfall is a trap platformer inspired by the genre popularized by Level Devil: short levels, instant death, and traps disguised as normal level geometry. The difference is that the level itself is not fixed. Between attempts, traps and level elements mutate, and the game denies that anything changed. You have to notice the mutation, not just react fast enough.

All code, art, audio, and level designs in this repository are original.
