From the README

A lean voxel editor built around one idea: every cube lives on the same fixed 45° diamond grid — no free-rotating floor, no presets, just honest oblique mechanics.

Most voxel editors let you place cubes any way you want and call it a day. Voxel-Moxel does the opposite: the whole scene is locked to a single 45°-rotated basis, the way diamond-grid pixel art works in 2D but in 3D. Because the grid is fixed, the geometry rules can be strict and predictable — and that predictability is the point.
