Open the live demo Source on GitHubA real-time Tessendorf FFT ocean in the browser, built with Three.js WebGPURenderer and TSL compute shaders. Three wave cascades, Jacobian whitecaps and physically-inspired water shading.
The initial spectrum h0(k) = (ξr + iξi)·√(S(k)Δk²)/2 is baked on the GPU only when a spectrum parameter changes. Each texel computes both h0(k) and h0(−k), so h(k,t) stays Hermitian and the IFFT output is exactly real.
