Open the live demo Source on GitHubLearn to drive a rally car at the limit of grip, right in your browser.
Rally driving is decided in the last ten percent of grip. That is where the front starts to push, the rear steps out, lifting off the throttle turns the car and a locked wheel stops steering. In a real car you rarely get there, and when you do, it is over too fast to see what happened.
Grenzbereich (German for the zone at the limit of grip) makes that zone visible. You drive a Rally2 car on tarmac, gravel, sand and snow while the screen shows what each tyre is doing.
